How would you like to watch tonight's Caps/Sens game? How about the Leafs and 'Yotes? Hell, why not both at the same time, all from the seat in which you're sitting right now?
Thanks to Allsmoke for pointing us to the NHL's Center Ice Beta preview, where all of this and more can be yours - for free - through October 9 (they don't even require a credit card). Just follow the link here, click on NHL Center Ice, follow the instructions and, knock on wood, you should be watching hockey in no time.
If that description isn't tempting enough, check out the screen grab (updated with an in-game shot):
I think I just drooled on my shirt.

Two questions:
Anyone else having difficulties launching the portal on a Mac?
Did the Center Ice price go up $20 from last year?
One recommendation:
Wear a bib, JP.
are you able to see a link to the game or are you expecting that to happen around 7. im not able to watch the old clips either, you?
kb, the Center Ice FAQ on the NHL.com site indicates that this program is not Mac friendly. I don't know if it's impossible, but it's certainly not easy. Sorry about that.
This looks awesome. Especially since I haven Verizon Fios which doesn't carry NHL Center Ice.
how the hell do you log-in
Not sure, but it's working for me.
Try http://capitals.nhl.tv/team/ and following the links to Center Ice.
i got it thanks, this is amazing.
and they look pretty good
i have a mac and i cant get the maximized picture....aghhhh. oh well, im actually watching hockey!!
I'm watching the Center Ice game video on one tab while listening to the game audio via Caps Live365 player on a second tab. I prefer listening to our guys. This is great! I just wish the Caps were doing better.
That's what I did too. It was nice to watch the Leafs too, even if it's just the preseason. :)
I meant to type to watch the Leafs to see them loose. Sheesh. I need more caffeine.
