It'd be sweet if the Caps could put together a second line without an Alex that wasn't laughable, because the 8-19-28 line was pretty sharp.

True, that line was very effective.

What does everyone thing of Gordon? He was been hyped as such a great two way forward but i'm not convinced. Although i guess you need lower salary players and he fits the bill.

Laich - really enjoy watching him play. he's hungry every game.

Kozlov - he has gotten a lot better but has his shot always sucked as bad as it does this season??

Laing - damn he's good

Fleischmann - i REALLY want to believe in this guy but am having a hard time. he's sloppy and way to hesitant with the puck. he loses it way too easily and often

Semin has been playing out of his mind. i'm not sure what changed in his head or the locker room but he actually looks like he cares.

hope they keep Lepisto up w/ the Caps. He took some penalties but looks to be another weapon on the blue line. he had a sweet wrister right off the draw.

i feel like we could replace half our defenseman and we would be fine.

the last 1.5min were damn entertaining...

Can someone please win a freaking faceoff in a key spot??

It is really, really hard to lose two of your top six forwards and win. (And we might have been short a RW to begin with -- thanks GMGM.) COL did it (sorta) because they have stud netminding.

We have a young team that played a helluva game yesterday. Brodeur was a stone wall.

Great game, great young team. Even if the Caps don't make the playoffs this season I couldn't be more excited about the future.
Semin's awesome. Great player.
