I would be alot more worried about Bruce being an "AHL" guy if this was a veteran team. This is clearly Leonsis giving McPhee one last shot and if Boudreau fails the next GM can pick his own guy.
Optimism has retrned to my heart. AHL guy or not the team looked well coached today and motivated and some of the lines and D pairings showed imagination and oh yeah - the Caps WON!
And Nicklas Backstrom ain't bad either...
