A Bit More On The Super Series

The CP previews the upcoming Super Series by revisiting the 1972 Summit Series and profiling the Canadian participants.

The entire article makes for a good read, and the short profiles of the two Caps prospects are nothing if not encouraging:
Karl Alzner, Calgary Hitmen -- The big, steady, stay-at-home defenceman doesn't make mistakes in his own end and thus is a calming influence on the back end.

Josh Godfrey, Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds -- Another big defenceman who can move the puck and has a howitzer of a slapshot.
And don't forget - the goaltender who Alzner and Godfrey will be facing on most nights is expected to be Simeon Varlamov. Caps fans will no doubt be watching this series very closely.

Watching it where? I guess I will get the good tidbits from usual suspects, you, OFB, Off-Wing and TSN.

Looking forward to it.

Thanks for the heads-up, jr. Any idea if that feed will only be available to Canadian residents?

It's the web it's available to anyone who has broadband.

Actually, that's not always the case. Often, TSN's stuff is blocked to non-Canadian IP addresses (this was the case with their trade deadline day coverage, for example).

Hopefully NHL.com picks up the TSN feed and streams it - like they did on trade deadline day.
