My FanHouse preview of the Ottawa/Jersey series is up. I went with the Devils in seven, though I have very little confidence in the pick. I was all ready to pick the Sens, but I know the series will be low-scoring and just can't see Ray Emery out-dueling Martin Brodeur over the course of six or seven games.
Is it too late to change my pick and just go with the team in the red, black and white uniforms?

Who do you think of when you think of "boring", grind it out, score off the turnover, lock up the neutral zone, defensive hockey?
The 3-time Stanley Cup Champion New Jersey Devils, that's who.
You don't win the same way for over 12 years, and not know what you're doing. Tampa Bay honestly scared me more than Ottawa does, because they had scoring, and that's something Ottawa lacks.
Plus, it's Ottawa! They'll remember that fact soon enough.
Devils in 6.
If Ottawa can't figure out a way to score 5-on-5 (they only did 11 times in their first series, and that was against free-wheelin' Pittsburgh), they'll have a real difficult time because the Devils are so disciplined.

Well...that sounds like the smart pick to me!
