1) We like players like Avery who have some skill and will drop the gloves, BUT he must have some other issues that LA would so easily have traded him to the Rangers 2) That said, his arrival seems to have coincided with the reemergence of the Rangers as a playoff/Cup contender They were too Euro-centric and needed an in your face guy. 3) He, like Tucker, is the guy you love to hate if he's on the other team, but is your favourite if he's on your team. Don't be ashamed, JP- I too am a Sean Avery fan. Since I live in NYC, I was thrilled when he got traded to the Rangers.
