I Have A Confession To Make...

... but I couldn't bring myself to admit it here. Head over to NHL FanHouse to witness my shame.

Don't be ashamed, JP- I too am a Sean Avery fan. Since I live in NYC, I was thrilled when he got traded to the Rangers.

Your Ovechkin obsession was bad enough, but SEAN F*CKING AVERY!?!?!

Ohh.... it's going to be open season on JP now :)

1) We like players like Avery who have some skill and will drop the gloves, BUT he must have some other issues that LA would so easily have traded him to the Rangers
2) That said, his arrival seems to have coincided with the reemergence of the Rangers as a playoff/Cup contender They were too Euro-centric and needed an in your face guy.
3) He, like Tucker, is the guy you love to hate if he's on the other team, but is your favourite if he's on your team. (See Dale Hunter)

JP, it's ok. I used to like popping my collar.

Guilty pleasures.

He's done wonders on that team, but is that sort of an aberration for his career? Or is this a consistent pattern?

The popped collar admission will not go uncommented upon. Please tell me you never popped the collar on a pink polo shirt.

I have multiple pink polos and I've popped several of their collars.

SIMULTANEOUSLY.
