Perhaps the only local sports oriented ad that was less funny was the Eddie Jordan ad for the same dealership. Bizarre wooden acting, including odd ESL type inflection and arbitrary head shaking distinguish both. Not to mention the similarity to the old Caps ad that pitted Kono and that other player I can't remember going head to head at a restaurant. It's even worse because the Cup ad was so awesome.

Really, guys? I thought this one was just as funny... xD
Nikolishin was the other. That was a much better ad, more of a face off, of cafe table condiments, salad, etc. This looked like sumo.
Cupholders, hands-down.
I have to admit I did laugh a little bit.
Funny or not its good to see the Caps getting this sort of attention.
