BEST. POST. EVER.Tried to rob poti of one, too.
Reposting:HAVE ANOTHER DONUT YOU FAT PIG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was Koharsky, though. But he's just as blatantly involved in rigging games.
Yeah I know, but the transgression fit the quote.
Raise your hand if you think Ovie is GOD.
Jesus, that guy's good.
McCreary must die. fuck that guy. Morrison should have cross checked that douche in the neck.
So, who still thinks I'm full of shit when I say that some refs are blatantly influencing the game so we lose? >:3
Boy was I wrong about NESN's boys being the worst in the game. FSN Ohio's Jeff Rimer and that idiot next to him are horrible. The comment on Nash's second goal was "a tremendous effort by Rick Nash". Indeed. He really smoked Morrissonn at the blue line.It also took this guy 3 views of the replay to see Poti's goal. I heard it hit the back iron live. Off the crossbar make a different noise. The goalie interference call 'gainst Laing was weak. Laing did not make the driving motion the referees indicated.
i need to find of pic of Morrison's look of death he supposedly gave McCreary after that fucking pick/tackle
The Laing penalty was garbage. He got tied up with Heda (or whatever) and the rest is just unlucky for LeClaire.Totally agreed, I watched no Center Ice too, and those 2 need to shut the hell up. I originally thought it was nice that they were giving some of our players coverage in the minutes before the game started. 5 minutes into the game my opinion changed.I think the biggest "BULLSHIT" line was when they said "Laing, NOT HEDA, collided with LeClaire and was subsequently issued an interference minor." Sorry, douchebags, the tape clearly shows Heda hitting LeClaire first. And that they were both tied up with each other and it's simply bad luck.Center Ice really makes me miss Joe B. and Laughlin. Some of the fairest announcers I've ever heard.
Ahh, might I also point out that they never immediately signaled a goal on Poti's shot even though everyone in the rink knew it was a goal. Maybe the worst reffing job in a decade.
gotta love Wikipedia...took a screenshot before it got editedhttp://i27.tinypic.com/2qj8uip.jpg
Awesome. I took a SS of it too.I also sent this:On Feb 5, 2008 10:05 PM, NHLOA Inquiry Confirmation Name = Edward Lucas Email = email@example.com Information = Why has Bill McReary not been fired by now? It''s blatantly obvious that he can''t referee, and I think tonight''s Capitals @ Blue Jackets game is just a huge, glaring beacon of evidence of this claim. He''s called many, many bad games before, but this one takes the cake. If you can''t stay out of the play, get the hell off the ice. So, why hasn''t he been fired?Only just now I realized I said "McReary" and not "McCreary." So I'm likely to get a "He doesn't work here!" reply.
Awesome!!! Just Awesome!! Well done!
It's gotten even better.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_McCreary_%28referee%29http://www.carrierhasarrived.net/images/mccrearysucks.jpg
NEW YORK -- In an unprecedented move, the NHL announced tonight that it has already awarded the 2007-08 Hart Trophy to Alexander Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals."It was an easy call," said NHL commissioner Gary Bettman. In most years -- in fact in every year until now -- the league has waited until after the season to name three finalists and then to eventually award the Hart Trophy. Bettman said that he didn't mind bucking tradition."Are you fucking kidding me?" he said to a reporter who asked him if he wasn't jumping the gun. "The guy is unstoppable. He scores between two and four goals a night. He's a plus player. He hits everything in sight."
If this was a Brazilian soccer match, McCreary would be lucky to get out of the arena alive or at least unperforated if he pulled a stunt like that. Good thing he wasn't in Washington too, I think he would have been marinated in beer.Poti, on the other hand, had one hell of a game.
The availability of pictures of referees with their arms in the air makes that post a no-brainer when you get hosed by stripes.I had one of Kerry Fraser last year and to be fair he really is a douchebag. McCreary is more like over the hill.At least you guys won. Ovie better get ready for his trip to Toronto for the NHL awards.
i still hope he fucking dies and rots on hell
I hope anonymous commenters die, rot in hell, and have to re-read their own typos from now until eternity. Take that!
worst announcing ever. I CANT CONTROL THE VOLUME OF MY VOICE.worst reffing...in a long timeworst pass on a 5-3 PP since...last weekThank God For Ovechkin. I was beginning to regret flying from Vegas to DC for Canes and Rags this weekend, but now i feel better.
Seriously? You're saying McCreary got in the way on purpose? Do you also think that 9-11 was an inside job? Every replay shows him trying to get out of the way, with the play coming into HIM. I thought it was bullshit that it happened, and unlucky, but accidental. The goalie interference rivalled Semin's "diving" penalty from the Atlanta game, and missing that goal was unforgivable. But no way was McCreary's contact anything but accidental.
Tyler, you beat me to it!Had the Caps lost I think that would have been the title of my writeup. I'm glad other Caps fans also had that thought immediately spring to mind.b80,I agree that the call on Laich was iffy, to say the least. Yeah, he didn't stop but it's hard to do so when your legs are being taken out by the opposition - where was the interference call on Hejda?
b80vin: I believe wholeheartedly that referees place bets on games and do what they can to make sure their bet wins. I don't care what you feel like calling me because of it, I have no reason to believe otherwise. And at the very least, a referee should know how to get the hell out of the way at all times, or hang up the skates. Seriously.Considering the absolutely ridiculous calls that come against us (a team notorious for not being a 'winning team') but always seem to elude 'winning teams', I stand firm in my beliefs that we get fucked whenever and however possible.
Hazardous: Rarely are people as proud of being stupid as you are.
you being that rare exception
IMO... The collision between Morrisson and McCreary was accidental, BUT McCreary was so intent on watching the play progress that he FORGOT to let Morrisson up off the ice. Players fall all the time and are able to get up and recover the play, but not here. McCreary bungled it. Thank goodness we won, or McCreary would be begging the NHL not to be sent to DC again for any games.
Rimer was awful when he was announcing for the Caps, but he's now a disgrace. Beyond unprofessional.- Empty
God dammit I hate Bill McCreary from his douchey moustache to his blantant distaste for the Caps. Always calling B.S. penalties and clearly he was out of position on that play. Refs aren't supposed to be in the middle of the damn ice! What an asshole. Get him out!
I'll be waiting with baited breath for the next time Billy-boy shows his lardy face in DC.Anyone know if there's a way to find out who's reffing a game before the game starts?
Tyler: Call me superstitious or a conspiracy nut or whatever you want, but that doesn't make my claims stupid. There's plenty of evidence pointing in my favor. Of course a lot of these things look like accidents, but if they didn't, it would be super fucking blatant and everyone would know immediately that they're rigging games.Everyone knows certain referees call the most bogus penalties on the caps, yet when I say there may be a reason behind it, I'm suddenly stupid? Kiss my dick, Tyler.
I think NHL referees killed JFK.
Who was that laughing in the background of Columbus broadcast, John Candy?
>I think NHL referees killed JFK.With a single whistle.
My God. They're not hockey announcers; they're a small-market morning zoo.
Mock all you wish. When the truth is finally revealed, I'll fucking mock you into eternity. The fact that you're still so blind to the obvious is rather hilarious.
