In a minor move, the Caps have sent Lawrence Nycholat to Ottawa for defenseman Andy Hedlund and a sixth round pick.According to TSN.ca, "Hedlund, 28, has spent the 2006-07 season with the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League (AHL). He has seen action in 56 games, tallying five goals, 21 assists and 84 penalty minutes. The 6'2”, 216-pound native of Osseo, Minn., was acquired by Ottawa as a free agent on June 19, 2006."
