Who Wants Number Eight?

Per the team, "The Washington Capitals are currently conducting an online auction for Caps-branded Maryland license plates. With the help of the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration, the Capitals are offering Maryland drivers the unique opportunity to bid on the first 100 license plates." Proceeds from the online auction will benefit Washington Capitals Charities.

Bidding for each plate starts at $125.00, which is exactly $125.00 more than I assume number 68 will fetch. Number eight, however, is another story - it's already going for $250.00.
