Gary Bettman: Portraits In Heroism

Just a reminder that you've got less than three days to get your submissions in for Puck Daddy's Gary Bettman: Portraits in Heroism art contest. Check out some of the best entries so far here and here.

That's my entry above (and believe me, the temptation to go blue was there). What do you think?

I wonder what percentage of readers get the term "go blue"?

the reason I ask is because 50% of the people in an improv class I took had no idea. That being said, I think the usual suspects one is my favorite. that or Bettman parting the red sea.

Sigh. Kids today.

Go get schooled, kiddies.

SG...having attended Michigan, "go blue" does have specific meaning to me, but probably not what you're thinking.

I'm not kidding - I had the exact same idea.

@Peerless - haha, yeah we would have been on different pages there...

@JP - I applaud the use of the term. I might have just had less than informed improv classmates. Either that or sports terminology dominate showbiz terminology.

Maybe thats what happened with Nolan Yonkman/Michael Nylander a few seasons ago. Kid was trying to impress, someone told him to "go break a leg" and the rest is history?
