Earlier today I referenced
the 1988-89 Caps' three 40-goal scorers (
Dino Ciccarelli scored 32 of his 44 with the North Stars before being acquired along with
Bob Rouse in the blockbuster that sent
Mike Gartner and
Larry Murphy to Minny on March 7, 1989). Well, here's the promotional poster celebrating the trio and riffing on
a popular movie (thankfully,
the Caps would never do something like that nowadays):

Unrelated: Why are the Pens doing a "white-out" at home when the Red Wings are wearing white in their building?
I'm pretty confident the autographs on the 'new' poster will be more sought after than the old one.
Aside: Why do teams have to actually HAND OUT white t-shirts for their white outs? In the crappy, non-hockey, fairweather city I live in the fans do it all on their own.
Young Guns isn't a popular movie. That's like saying Was Not Was is a popular band.
Right there in the lower left corner: Saxitone. Ahhhh. If I could see a reference to Waxy Maxy's all the nostalgia wasted on those video clips could be washed away
My new desktop wallpaper.
Killer. I've got some more that I'll get around to scanning as well.
