What We Love About Olie

Cheers to OFB for posting the video - a timely reminder of how Olie Kolzig will always be remembered in this community, long after the current silliness has blown over.

Nice reality check JP. At the end of the day, hockey is just entertainment. If you can leave this place better than when you found it - that means something.

The Vezina is a personal professional accomplishment to be more than proud of - but his greatest feat is all of the hard work he put in to raise awareness and funds toward autism. He tried to improve the quality of life of countless people.

I don't think kids should view athletes as idols, but he's the exception to the rule for his off ice feats.

What're you talking about, man? Athletes are terrific role models all the time! Now, excuse me, I'm gonna go grab my teammate and do 80+ MPH in a residential zone, commit vehicular manslaughter, and get off scot-free JUST LIKE MY HERO DANY!

I just watched this without the sound on, and I'm bawling.
