Award Season Is Underway

We'll have to wait until June 12 to see who the NHL's most gentlemanly player is (here are the über-manly nominees), but if you're more a fan of the type of guys who are more likely to be elected Prime Minister of Canada than to be nominated for that award, you don't have to wait to see and participate in the voting for the annual Awards.

Not surprisingly, Donald Brashear is up for slew of awards, including those for Fight of the Year (the video below), KO/TKO of the Year (for his costly shot at Shane Hnidy), the Probert Award (for fighter of the year), the People's Choice Award and the Grimson Award (for "Best Punching Power/Most Destructive Fighter").

So head on over and view and vote often. Enjoy.

The Hockey News doesn't even have BB as a finalist in its COTY list.
