I admit to some pessimism regarding this one. Not so much apprehension, but more like inexorable and impending doom. Guess that's what being a Caps' fan is all about.

OK, I need help with that picture.

You're no different than me in that regard. Hoping the Caps are angry enough to overcome a good Pens team.

From what the Caps have shown under Boudreau I have a feeling they'll come out flying and refuse to be denied the two points.

What a weekend. Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse.

Wow Backstrom. I hope he forgets about this as soon as possible, but it might be tough.

On the positive side, Jeff Shultz hasn't thrown the puck over the glass in a while

So, uh, yeah that was fun...

So, um, glad that was on national televison. :(
I think we are cursed. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it until my vision clears from the anger.

Team looked tired in the 3rd period. Ovechkin came out hard and fast in the first, but seemed sluggish the rest of the way.

Proving once again that Crosby is better than Ovechkin. 10-1 vs the Capitals. I could just see it now Fred Sanford screaming at Backstrom - "Ya Big Dummy!!!"

But I think that picture analogy is all wrong. It should be the Penguins tea-bagging the Capitals.

I enjoyed this very very much. But I do hope to see your Caps in the playoffs. Gotta have fresh teams this year to really make it exciting.

Fuck off, Michael

That was a really fun game to be at until Backstrom's goal. The Pens fans clearly don't know what the whoop is about, and the "Here we go, Penguins, here we go" chant followed by "GO HOME" in the stairwell didn't make me feel much better. laaaaame.

Michael is one one of the reasons the state of PA. is worthless. Lipstick wearing prima donnas is not far behind. I'm a bit sour right now.

Michael btw has a hockey blog decorated in Pink. He's also a blogger for the East Coast Wrestling assosciation. I'm not going to take him seriously.

I want the kool aid boxes JP has.

He still think this team has a shot at playoffs!

I want the balls anonymous has.

He still thinks his comments are clever!

Oh, and hotdog88gt, you said you needed help with the picture? It's pretty crude, but click here if you must.

anonymous, what's your problem? of all the caps blogs, you think this is the one blow sunshine up everyone's ass?

don't mind him, JP. keep up the good work.

What Michael and ten million more Pens fans wouldn't give to taste Crosby's high speed DSL...

The thing that's most disturbing is that the competition for Pens fans is still between AO and Crosby, when Malkin is simply a more complete player than Crosby could ever hope to be.
Leave it to a fine Pittsburgh education, I suppose.

Brashear and Bakstrom are actually Hurricanes fans.

Sparky is a presentient genius. 'Doom' is the precise descriptor, at the end of the day.

Have we reached the End of the Day yet?

Wow, it's the next day and I'm still in shambles. All I can say is this is highly unfortunate but we've still got to put it behind us.
