Per Jakub Klepis, "I think the plan is I'll be traded, hopefully to some other NHL team. Right now, a trade isn't in progress and I just have to wait and I need to play some games, so I come [to Hershey].... For now, the goal is to get traded and try to play NHL this year."

Paging Columbus...
This is very unusual information to be publicized by a player. It seems like his value goes down even more with this kind of thing shared.
screw him
This kind of information was shared in a post by Tarik toward the end of the summer when Flash and Klepis still hadn't signed. It was said (I believe by McPhee and I'm summarizing here) that the plan was for them to come into training camp to compete for a spot and if they didn't make the team they would either be traded or could play in Europe while the Caps retained their rights. Jakub is not the first to say something about this. It seems obvious that he prefers to continue looking for a spot in the NHL instead of running off to Europe and if that spot is not with this club then his only chance comes via trade. I don't think admitting the obvious hurts his value any more than not making the team already did.
