Per Tarik, Simeon Varlamov and Viktor Dovgan won't be coming to town this week (or next) for rookie camp. The former was not unexpected, while the latter "came as a bit of suprise," and no doubt a disappointment to both the team and to fans who were hoping the young Russian rearguard would play a second season in North America.In case you're wondering, the Caps signed Dovgan to a three-year entry-level deal back in December and Varlamov to a similar deal in July, so there's no imminent risk of the team losing their rights to either player.
