1) It'll be a 'fight to the finish' between Columbus and Phoenix!
2) The Pacific division looks to be tougher than the Norris division so our money is on Gretzky's boys finishing dead last this season

Hey, if you don't expect any defense or puck control, Beech is a perfectly capable NHL center. I think if he'd had time to develop chemistry with Semin, both could have put up better numbers last year. He and Fleischmann showed some of their tricks against Tampa late in the season, too. Remember? The blowout where Flash got two goals? Paired with Zherdev, Beech gets sixty points.
Novotny, I'm not quite sold on, but Columbus overpaid, and they'll want to give him a chance to justify it.
