If He's A Russian Center, You Can Bet He's Rumored To Be Headed To D.C.

Today's AJC reports that the Caps could be interested in soon-to-be-former Thrasher pivot Slava Kozlov.

Expect Viktor Kozlov rumblings and "Steve Eminger and a pick for Sergei Fedorov" rumors any day now.

"There might be a solid market for the forward who put up a career-best 80 points per game last season."

That's a lot of points . . .

How often do these deals get done inside the division tho... I'm skeptical.

It's not a trade - Slava K. is a UFA on July 1 - so it happens all the time in the division.

Perhaps worth noting: the last free agent the Caps signed who had most recently been with the Thrashers? Ivan Majesky.
