Humpday Morning Funny

As you know, we've been running our UFA Pool contest for a week or two now. Last week, I got the following email and thought little of it:

Giving away a free Nintendo Wii? Cool. Threats and name calling? Less so. Whatever.

Then, the other day I was surfing around and came upon a site that had this splashed across the top:

I'd rather not promote the site, so I won't tell you whose it is, but nearly as funny as putting together the above was one of the lead quotes in a prominent post on the site:
I am told that "most" of this may be very wrong
And yet he still gets traffic...

Smart commenters know that Hockeybuzz, Eklund & Co. suck.

Shocking! JP becomes at least the 10,324th blogger to get the e-mail shakedown from a guy who used to defend himself on Kukla's site under the name "Susan."

Seriously, though -- he totally lifted the Julien scoop from my site The Fourth Period, and I'm still a little cheesed about that.

Eklund is the defination of ball sucking cock monkey.

I have a question though, how does one play the Wii that they win, when their eyes will be bleeding from having read that poll tóin's site (poll toin = a**h**e in irish, this is a family site after all)

I would like to go on record to say, I posted the first message. I despise eklund, and am quite a fan of this blog.

My wording was poor, and if Japers would like to delete it, go right ahead.

The other 2 anonymous comments aimed a tyler, are not mine.

Just wanted to let that be known

1) Getting away from the sillyness for a moment: Question for JP: With the early inking of Kimmo Timonen how many folks had the Flyers getting him? Chicago was our prediction.

I tried e-mailing Eklund once, see what he was all about. I guess since I'm 18, he didn't even feel I was worth his time.

I'd love to go toe-to-toe with him just on basic hockey knowledge. Give me 10 rumors, give him 10, I'll take complete guesses and probably do better than him.

Faux -

Quite a few people had Timonen -> PHI. Probably around 10 or 12 folks.

And let's try to keep the language and the taunting to a minimum, shall we?

Wow, what a mega-dick.

By the way, according to "that guy" Briere was an e4 to sign with Buffalo by last night. Today, he's an e3 to Philly.

I also tried to e-mail Eklund to make a suggestion and never received a response. To prove a point I also e-mailed Paul at Kuklas Korner the same day and received a response withing two hours. Eklund is a complete joke and the fact that XM Home Ice puts him on makes them a complete joke as well. It's a shame to because they have a couple of really good hosts and they ruin it with Mike Ross, Boomer Gordon, Joe Thistle (program director) and bringing on Eklund.

Allsmokenopancake was the best name on HF boards. I don't even understand it, but I love it.

People still visit that site? (I havent been in years)
People still have him on talk shows? WTF???!

More proof that people are stupid.

Rage; I used to be smokeandapancake, as I signed up for the caps boards shortly after seeing austin powers goldmember, then got banned, so re-registered with this, and it's stuck.

Well whatever, it's a sweet nickname.

Eklund revealed as supposedly deceased Milly Vanilli member-e3.

Hey JP--what IP address did those two "anonymous" comments come from?

C'mon mang, ya gotta toss us a bone here.

See yer at the Draft.

Huh. I had no idea the hockey blog community was a competition. Because, you know, what we really need is less hockey blogs.
