The Caps have been busy this morning, selecting defensemen Josh Godfrey and Ted Ruth and sending the 41st pick to Philly for the 84th pick this year and the Flyers' second-round pick next year. With guys like Oscar Moller, Maxim Mayorov and Akim Aliu still on the board, these picks are a bit surprising to me.A bit on Ruth (Godfrey was not profiled in the Entry Draft Media Guide):

The 154th pick was the Caps own 6th round pick.
It was? NHL.com says it was from LA. And it was added to the Caps' draft page only about 15 mins ago. But they coulda just screwed up.
They got the 180th pick from LA

The Caps 6th round pick was (is) 180th (from Ottawa).
The 154th pick was the Kings original pick, acquired in the swap that sent the Caps fourth round pick (95th) to LA, I believe.
