gomez. correct me if im wrong, and im sure you will, but i think gomez is at least 6 years younger than drury, and the caps have to MAKE the playoffs first before he can work his magic. while drury is certainly clutch, i have been very impressed with gomez in the playoffs and have seen him take over the game at times. he is a true first line center who has the creativity to play with ovie and is still young enough to grow with the team.

Gomez ia 27, Drury is 30.

Either one would be a fine addition to any team trying to break through, but I think for those looking for leadership, Drury's a little better fit.

By the way J.P. I had a similar post on my blog this morning.

Drury is freaking dreamy. He played amazing hockey in this series.

I doubt he comes here though. The Rangers are desperate for Briere (at least their fans are), and I imagine that B'Lo will try to sign one of the two.

I would prefer drury over briere to the rangers but wold be very happy with either.

re-sign nylander and maybe shanny, pick up drury or briere to play on the 2nd line with avery and shanahan - keep the defence as is and buy out kasper.

call-up montayoa for back-up.

thanks for your opinion dave but i think youre lost, this is a caps blog and nobody cares about the rangers or what you think they need, do us all a favor, STFU and go away

That's not very nice. Dave is a buddy of mine, so he can talk about whatever he wants around here.

I like when people post mean things anonymously - it's so ballsy
