You're really voting for Staal for the Calder? He shouldnt'even be a finalist, Kopitar in LA got flat-out robbed.

MY vote would be for Stasny... but Malkin will probably (deservedly) win.

Stastny's a great pick too - ABM. If Stastny or Staal got the powerplay time (not to mention linemates) that Malkin did, they'd have silly numbers.

PP Ice Time Per Game:

Malkin (5:45)
Stastny (3:38)
Staal (1:12)

Oh you don't have to tell me. I think Stasny deserves the Calder over Malkin. Stasny's linemates weren't too shabby (Hejduk especially, McClean and Svatos were pretty average). But Stasny combined for more PK time and was also playing important defensive positions down the stretch.

I've already resigned to the fact that MAlkin is going to get the Calder (in fact I am already planning my blog post for when he actually gets it awarded to him), but I think the Avs are better off with Stasny, and If I had a choice, I'd choose the one that was an asset in both ends of the ice for his team (Staal or Stasny.)

My main complaint was that Kopitar should be a finalist over Staal.

Where do you find stats like that one? (PP ice time per game?) do you do some math? or is there a website i am missing?

I went to NHL.com > stats > regular (regular/playoff) / rookie (rookie/veteran) / time on ice (report view). It's all there.
