Capitals Stalker Watch

Far be it for us to enable either drinking or stalking, but I figured I'd pass this along anyway. According to today's WaPo, the Russia House just north of Dupont Circle might be a decent place to run into, well, Russians (two of whom may be of particular interest) relaxing with a certain potato-based beverage:
No matter what night you stop by, you're bound to come across revelers from the former Eastern Bloc... including Washington Capitals winger Alexander Semin, whom I apparently just missed a few weeks ago, or even Alex Ovechkin, whom friends have spied enjoying a martini.
Hey, at least it's not Champions in Georgetown.

Speaking of stalking, why don't you ask the '99-'04 Slapshot for some tips on stalking. Oh wait, you can't, he's in jail for violating a retstraining order.

Ha. I was waiting for that Slapshot story to surface on The Rink. Freaky stuff (for those of you who don't know, the guy that used to be Slapshot was on Dr. Phil recently and is a total obsessive whack job).

And yes, I'm old. But not that old.
