I have Windows Media Edition which basically means that the cable I run into my modem also goes into the CPU and voila - cable TV on the computer. Then I have SnagIt, which is a screen capture program which allows me to snap a pic of the paused TV app.

You probably have the cable wired through your TiVo, too, don't you? Ever since your brother moved away, my electronics set-up has suffered greatly.
