Defensemen Al MacInnis and James Patrick are finished (MacInnis article here, Patrick here). Both had NHL careers of 2+ decades, and MacInnis was certainly the more decorated of the the two, but did you know that Patrick was actually taken six spots ahead of MacInnis in the 1981 draft? Did you care? Me neither.Sidenote: when I think "hardest shot," only one man comes to mind and it ain't Al Mac. 105.2, baby!
