Snip Snip

Per the team, the Caps have sent the following players to Hershey today: Sami Lepisto, Grant McNeill, Tyler Sloan and Simeon Varlamov.

For those of you keeping score at home, that leaves seven (or is that eight?) defensemen still with the big club.

    Current D Men with the Caps:

    Poti
    Alzner
    Green
    Morrisonn
    Schultz
    Jurcina
    Erskine

    That's probably the group that'll start with the team.

    Fedorov may play some on D in the preseason to get him ready in case someone up there gets hurt during a game. Lepisto is clearly the first call up.

    Now if they can move either Jurcina or Erskine (not likely on the latter) then Lepisto will be up full time...
